Daniel Kronberg

b. 1944

In the world of miniature art Daniel Kronberg has a monumental reputation. The fine detail, movement, and sentimentality of his intimate vignettes give credence to the adage that dynamite comes in small packages.

A native of New York, Kronberg started sculpting at age ten and though he has worked with a range of materials including wood, soap, and stone – his primary medium is bronze.

His early interests led him to an Industrial Arts Education at New York University and to the Rhode Island School of Design where he specialized in jewelry design and apprenticed with the Danish Silversmith, Inc. These formative years for Kronberg set the course of his career in miniature sculpture which spans over fifty years.

Kronberg currently resides in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
