JK Inson has been a working artist for 45 years, including work as a muralist, easel painter, sculptor, and a scenic artist in the film industry. He currently designs jewelry and pottery, often collaborating with his wife Cynthia Inson.
Inson’s jewelry features carved gemstones, accented by silver and gold settings. He was influenced by his training in archaeology and anthropology, both stylistically and in his choice of ancient stones. Inson finds gemstones in collections and among ancient ruins, and carves various motifs. In his designs, he balances the mysterious prehistoric elements with bold, contemporary perspectives.
