This August Nedra Matteucci Galleries will host Light and Glory: The Art of Walt Gonske. This impressive collection from Walt Gonske pays homage to sacred places from across New Mexico and abroad. With his expressive brushwork and signature use of color, Gonske captures the emotional response impressed upon him by location. Each painting is a reflection on beauty and conveys the artists spontaneous vision and deep dedication.

This retrospective presents works from the artist’s personal collection spanning over the 50 years of his impressive career. Meet the artist at the gallery reception on Saturday, August 8, from 2 – 4 PM.
