Nedra Matteucci Galleries is preparing for our fall feature, "New Mexico in View," a selection of historic Taos & Santa Fe paintings. We are pleased to present these important works by artists who were instrumental in establishing the art colonies of the region, as well as those who made significant contributions as a result of their travels through Northern New Mexico. These paintings record a convergence of rare talents during an adventurous time in an inspirational place.
We are currently purchasing works by artists of early twentieth century New Mexico, including Taos Society Artists painters Joseph Henry Sharp, Bert Geer Phillips, Walter Ufer, W. Herbert Dunton, and E. I. Couse. We are equally interested in works by Santa Fe Artist Colony members Josef Bakos, Freemont Ellis, Willard Nash, and others. Many of these artists not only became deeply influential in their respective art communities, but had a significant impact on the development of American Art.
Please contact us for further information about selling your paintings for inclusion in this feature.
