Nedra Matteucci Galleries is pleased to announce Doug Hyde: Collection of Unique Stone Sculptures, one of America’s foremost Native American sculptors. This exhibition opens August 12, and will remain on display to September 2, 2023. Join us at the gallery to celebrate the aesthetic and mastery of the creations Doug Hyde captures in stone.

Doug Hyde was born in Oregon of Native American descent. His sculptures are influenced by Native lore and often tell of relationships and life shared between Mother Earth, animals, and humanity.  Hyde attended the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico and also the San Francisco Art Institute in California. Sculpting in stone and bronze is the central focus of Doug’s life and his sculpture are included in public and private collections across the country.
